Here in Winnipeg, today is the 11th. And it's remembrance day. So lets all remember our fallen soldiers.
Today is the 11th day of the 11th month, 2011, and at 11:11am/pm at 11 seconds on the clock it will be
11/11/11 11:11.11
DD/MM/YY /\ HH/MM/SS
(Day Month Year Hour Minute Second)
This was going on since 2010.
On October 10th, The 10th month, 2010, and at 10:10am/pm at 10 seconds on the clock it would have been:
10/10/10 10:10.10
And sadly, 2012 is our last year that it will happen,
Because even though theres the 13th day, theres no 13th month or hour .. (not counting 24 hour clocks)
And so on and so on, and .. would it work in the year 3010? Yeah, but we won't be alive then. SO HAPPY 11/11/11 11:11.11 DAY! (It also worked in 1910)

I'll be at my friends house at 11:11 so I won't be home. It's 9:27am here in WPG CITY (Swaggerville) and so that means I have just under 2 hours before the big 11's.
